A modern church project in Guangzhou, China, aimed to create an interior environment that reflects the natural, serene, and sacred character of traditional travertine stone. At the same time, the design team sought to overcome the limitations of conventional natural stone, such as excessive weight, complex fabrication, and high installation costs. The goal was to find a wall cladding solution that could authentically replicate natural travertine texture while offering lightweight structure, flexibility, and easy installation.

After evaluating various natural stone materials and advanced composite wall systems, the project team ultimately selected our 3D Printed Travertine panels for the main sanctuary feature wall, entrance façade, and selected interior accent walls.

Utilizing advanced 3D surface printing technology, the panels accurately reproduce the porous structure and layered texture of natural travertine, delivering a highly realistic and refined stone appearance. The material features an ultra-thin and flexible structure, allowing seamless installation on both large flat surfaces and curved architectural elements.
