This project is located at a villa resort hotel on Lake Como, Italy, where the site is nestled between mountains and the lakeshore, integrating natural scenery with European architectural style. The client aimed to create an outdoor garden wall space with a stronger sense of resort atmosphere and architectural character, using stone textures that convey a historical and timeless aesthetic.

The initial design proposed the use of natural fortress stone; however, due to its heavy weight, complex installation process, high cost, and low construction efficiency, it was not suitable for the renovation schedule and landscape requirements of the hotel. Ultimately, PU Castle Wall Stone was selected to achieve the visual effect of traditional castle masonry while providing a lighter and more efficient construction solution.

PU Castle Wall Stone replicates the irregular block forms and rugged textures of natural stone through high-precision molding technology. Featuring tones of light beige, warm grey, and sandstone, the stones are arranged in a staggered composition, creating a naturally layered castle wall appearance that blends seamlessly with surrounding mountains, vegetation, and courtyard landscapes.

In this project, PU Castle Wall Stone was extensively applied to the garden boundary walls, courtyard perimeter walls, and landscape feature walls. After renovation, the walls harmonize with greenery, lawns, and water features, transforming what was once a plain enclosure into a visually striking landscape backdrop, significantly enhancing the European resort ambiance of the space.

Under changing light conditions, the textured stone surface reveals rich dimensional variations—appearing naturally understated during the day and gaining enhanced depth and sculptural presence under nighttime lighting. This creates a calm, warm, and immersive outdoor experience for guests within the courtyard.

Compared to natural stone, PU Castle Wall Stone offers significant advantages, including lightweight construction, easy installation, cut-to-size flexibility, and high construction efficiency. It can be adapted to various wall structures, greatly reducing installation time and minimizing disruption to hotel operations.

Upon completion, the garden boundary walls present an authentic rustic castle stone aesthetic, seamlessly integrating with the lakeside mountain scenery and courtyard environment. The overall architectural quality and landscape value of the hotel are significantly elevated.
